Deji Adeyanju, an activist lawyer, has emphasized one of the reasons for Nigerians to participate in the upcoming nationwide protest on August 1.
Speaking to NewsNow, Adeyanju expressed, “The current situation where N100,000 is equivalent to what N10,000 used to be shows that the naira’s value has significantly depreciated due to poor governmental policies.”
On August 1, Nigerians are set to engage in a nationwide protest to address the challenging conditions prevailing in the country.
Citizens from various backgrounds have been encouraged to demonstrate on the streets despite warnings issued by the Nigerian government and security forces.
