Trading at the official market on Monday saw the Naira strengthening to N1,607.15 per dollar.
Data sourced from the FMDQ Exchange, the regulatory platform for the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market, revealed that the Naira gained N9.93.
This marks a 0.61% increase compared to the previous trading day of August 2, where it stood at N1,617.08 to a dollar.
However, the total daily turnover saw a decrease to $77.09 million on Monday, down from the $131.55 million recorded on August 2.
Meanwhile, in the Investor’s and Exporter’s window, the Naira was seen trading within the range of N1,620.50 and N1,570.00 against the dollar.
