A 78-year-old retired teacher’s lifeless body was discovered in a hotel room in Nyamira County, Kenya.
The deceased, Saul Mokua from the neighboring Bosamaro Chache, had last been seen on Monday evening checking into the Club78 with a middle-aged woman.
The next day, the body of Mr. Saul was found in the hotel room with a packet of sex-enhancing pills allegedly placed next to him.
Johnson Manyara, the Township Sub-location Chief, confirmed the incident, stating, “We found what looked like sex-enhancing pills beside the body, and it is suspected that the deceased might have taken an overdose.”
However, relatives of the late teacher refuted the sex-enhancing pills report and said he had a history of high blood pressure.
Nairobi News reported that the deceased’s body was taken to Kinara hospital mortuary in Nyamira, where an autopsy will be conducted. It is currently unclear if any arrests have been made.
