Recently, the fast-rising American music star, James Guyton, who has discovered his Nigerian roots, has revealed his latest single album “BLOCK”.
This album, which showcases his commitment to promoting Nigerian artists and their music, features two Nigerian music stars @dopestdjfemzey, @Original_jdee.
JG’s new project, which is already making waves in the digital sphere, is a strategic move to revive the rap genre in Nigeria. He believes that rap music has lost its prominence in the Nigerian music industry.
According to JG’s country Manager, Sunday Chibuike, Nigerians can anticipate JG’s second release in Nigeria titled “IGWE #IGBO OFFICIAL” by the end of March 2020.
In recognition of his Nigerian heritage, the Ofeme Ancient Kingdom, Abia State, announced the conferment of the High Chieftaincy title “The Nwannedimamba of Ofeme, Umuahia” on James Guyton, with a new Igbo name, CHIWETARA.
The celebration of the chieftaincy title and naming ceremony will coincide with the official launch of his second album in Nigeria on the 21st of March 2020.
