The harrowing experience of surviving a mysterious fire after the National Convention: LP Chairman’s testimony

Following the National Convention of the Labour Party, LP, Julius Abure, the National Chairman, has opened up about a terrifying incident where he narrowly escaped a potential tragic fate, which some have labeled as an assassination attempt.

During a press briefing in Abuja held on Wednesday, Abure recounted the ordeal, attributing his survival to divine intervention.

Reflecting on the incident, Abure expressed gratitude, stating, “I am taking this moment to express my heartfelt thanks to God for safeguarding me following the fire incident at my residence after our party’s National Convention.

“The fire occurrence has been shrouded in mystery by some, with speculations of it being a failed assassination try,” he added.

Detailing further, he shared, “Various theories have been postulated by those present during the incident, but the ultimate acknowledgement goes to God for sparing my life and that of my loved ones.

“I extend the appreciation of the Labour Party’s national leadership to our dedicated members and supporters nationwide, who have resolutely upheld the fundamental Principle of Political Party Supremacy, a principle that has faced negligence and disrespect within other political establishments.”
