The Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, and His Wife Enter Isolation as Their Daughter Tests Positive for Coronavirus

The governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, and his wife, Edith, have decided to go into self-isolation after receiving news that one of their daughters recently tested positive for COVID-19.

 

On Friday, June 26, the governor revealed this information on his Instagram page.

”Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Therefore, following the established procedures, we will both be in isolation for the next 14 days.

We will continue to keep you all updated.” he wrote

 

Delta State currently has 715 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
