The Defeat of Corruption is Achievable in Nigeria, According to EFCC

According to the EFCC, the surge of corruption in Nigeria can be overcome through the collective efforts of all stakeholders involved in anti-corruption initiatives.

Ola Olukoyede, the Chairman of the Commission, highlighted this in his Eid-El-Kabir message, emphasizing the need to intensify efforts in combating economic and financial crimes.

He emphasized the importance of renewing efforts to eradicate corruption and promote peace, love, progress, and unity in Nigeria.

In his message, Olukoyede expressed belief that Nigerians are not inherently corrupt and that the nation has the potential to be free from corrupt practices.

Wishing the nation well on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir, he called for a renewed commitment to the fight against corruption, drawing inspiration from the festival’s teachings of forbearance, sacrifice, faith, and hope in God.

He urged individuals to strive towards serving the nation and pleasing God without engaging in corrupt activities.

Olukoyede stressed the importance of unity in combating economic and financial crimes, encouraging everyone to contribute to the ongoing fight against corruption.
