Announcing the winner of the Cussons Baby Moments 6 competition! Baby Nathaniel Adeoye emerged victorious at the grand finale held at the Radisson Blu, Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday, December 1st, 2019.
After careful consideration by the panel of judges including Nollywood actress Ufuoma McDermott, actor Deyemi Okanlawon, and lifestyle blogger Yemisi Odusanya, Baby Nathaniel Adeoye was crowned the Cussons Baby of the Year 2019, winning a grand prize of 1 million naira and a year’s supply of Cussons Baby products.
The 1st runner-up, Baby Lewis Grant, received a prize of N750,000 and a year’s supply of Cussons Baby products, while the 2nd runner-up, Baby Einstein Durosinmi, won N500,000 and a year’s supply of Cussons Baby products. In the Special Categories, Oluwadarasimi Olaniyan won Best Concept and Composition; Louisa Fabiyi won the prize for Best Candid Shot, and Praise Nsed-Ogar received the prize for Best Toothy Smile. Each special category winner received N50,000 and a 6-month supply of Cussons Baby products.
The Cussons Baby Moments 6 competition introduced a multiple entry system, allowing participants to enter the competition multiple times. The event was well-attended by the PZ Leadership team and the brand team, including key figures such as Human Resources Director (Africa) Joyce Coker, Finance Director Dipo Dawodu, and Head of Marketing Charles Nnochiri.
Yosola Nwachukwu, Brand Manager of Cussons Baby, expressed her delight with the success of the competition and extended her congratulations to all the winners and participants.
“This year’s edition of Cussons Baby Moments saw a record-breaking number of entries, showing the trust and connection our consumers have with the brand. We created magical memories and shared them with amazing families across the country. The revamp of the competition attracted a record-breaking 10,308 participants over 7 weeks, with over 400,000 votes received. The Top 100 babies went through careful assessment by celebrity judges to determine the Top 10 Finalists.
Mrs. Adeoye, Baby Nathaniel’s mother, expressed her gratitude and excitement:
