The Federal Government has provided an update on the status of the Coronavirus tests conducted on the 15-member Chinese medical team who recently arrived in the country to aid in the fight against the disease. Minister of State for Health, Dr. Adeleke Mamora revealed during the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 that the test results are not yet available.
Dr. Mamora also commented on the health status of the Chinese doctors, who completed their mandatory 14-day quarantine on April 22. He stated that the results of the tests are pending and assured the public that as soon as the results are obtained, the country will be informed. He advised Nigerians to be patient while emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring the protection of the citizens’ health and well-being.
