An individual named Grace Ibrahim, a 34-year-old female teacher, has been apprehended by the Intelligence Response Team of the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters for allegedly disseminating misleading information concerning the abduction of Dr. Philip Ataga’s wife and two children in Kaduna State.
Grace has been accused of spreading rumors linking a policeman to the kidnapping of the Kaduna doctor’s family, stating that one of the children identified a neighbor who is a policeman as the person who ordered the shooting of their mother.
During her presentation at the Force headquarters, the woman expressed regret and admitted to not verifying the report before sharing it on social media, acknowledging any harm it may have caused.
