Reports claiming that Leah Sharibu, the abducted Dapchi schoolgirl, has given birth to a baby boy for a Boko Haram top commander have solicited a response from her father, Nathan Sharibu.   In a phone conversation with Channels Television’s correspondent on Sunday January 26, Mr. Nathan declined to comment on the update regarding his daughter, who has been in captivity since her kidnapping alongside 111 students of Girls Science Secondary School in Dapchi, Yobe State on February 19, 2018.   Rejecting the rumors about his daughter, Leah's father emphasized that his primary concern is to see her safely return to their family.
