Coronavirus: Patoranking Raises Concerns about Online Giveaways by Colleagues
Nigerian artist Patoranking has criticized his fellow entertainers who have been running online giveaway campaigns amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
In a tweet, Patoranking urged Nigerian artists to contribute money to support those who are offline and most affected during this time.
He expressed his view in a tweet:
Instead of engaging in online competitions, let's come together and contribute money to support people in the slums and ghettos who are disadvantaged due to the Covid-19 lockdown. They are the ones who truly understand the impact of giveaways.
Patoranking also called out a Twitter user who suggested that entertainers should do online giveaways because "all work and no play makes Jack a fool."
