Full list of winners at the Headies 2022

The 15th Headies Awards took place in Atlanta, USA, on September 4, 2022. The show was hosted by Emmy-nominated American actor Anthony Anderson and Nigerian actress Osas Ighodoro. Patoranking won 2 awards at the 2022 Headies Awards. Other winners include BNXN, who won the Next Rated Award, and Ayra Starr, who won the Viewers Choice Award. Prior to the Award ceremony, journalist Sampson Unamka disclosed that the winner of the Next Rated category would take home the 2022 Bentley Bentayga SUV. Naira Marley speaks out against the arrest of his signees without a warrant

Singer and music label owner, Naira Marley has denounced the arrest of his artists Zinoleesky, Mohbad, and his sister Shubomi.   Expressing his frustration on Twitter, Naira Marley claimed that his signees were taken into custody without a warrant when the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) raided one of their homes.   While confirming that Mohbad has been released, he asserted that these arrests seem to be recurring.   Naira Marley's tweet read:   "NDLEA have released Mohbad after physically assaulting him, Zinoleesky is still in custody. The life of Marlian music signee, Mohbad, has been reportedly threatened by his boss Naira Marley and other individuals associated with the music label. Mohbad alleged this during an Instalive session shortly after his release by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) following an arrest alongside label mate, Zinoleesky, and others. In the video, Mohbad mentioned Naira Marley and others as the ones he believes are after his life. NDLEA spokesperson provides details on Zinolesesky and Mohbad’s arrest for drug possession

Femi Babafemi, the spokesperson of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA, has explained the circumstances leading to the arrest of two Marlian Music artists, Oniyide Azeez (Zinoleesky) and Ilerioluwa Oladimeji (Mohbad), in the early hours of February 24. According to Babafemi, the singers were apprehended based on credible intelligence indicating their involvement in drug possession. "Yes, they have been arrested because we had reliable information that they were in possession of drugs. We moved in on them and recovered drugs. That is why five of them were arrested; three males and two females. During the search of their house, we found molly and cannabis in their possession. The investigation is ongoing as we seek to trace the source of these substances."

In a video posted on his Instastories, Portable questioned whether they should be prohibited from smoking weed in their own homes. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) conducted a raid last night and arrested Marlian music stars, Zinoleesky and Mohbad. Videos circulated online showed the NDLEA operatives invading the house where the singers were present, allegedly jumping over its fence and placing handcuffs on them.
