Nollywood Mourns the Loss of Juwon, a Movie Continuity Manager Killed by Armed Bandits in Kwara

Tragedy struck Nollywood as a movie continuity manager known as Juwon, fell victim to armed bandits' gunfire on Monday, January 27th.    The news of Juwon's demise was broken by actor Ibrahim Chatta, who mourned the loss on social media, stating: ''He was young and promising, full of HOPE. Juwon was working in my industry as a continuity manager and a driver trying to make ends meet. He was attacked and murdered today by the three Fulani and a Yoruba armed bandits while driving a known female Actor (Tooyosi Adesanya) @adesanyatoyosi_ileyemi from Ilorin. Adieu Juwon''.   The Kwara state police command is yet to comment on the incident.   Juwon was 39 years old. May his soul rest in peace, Amen.

Sharing the disturbing photos on Facebook, Ahmad Ibrahim wrote: Abdulafeez Nurudeen, a 10-year-old boy, was molested by a 40-year-old Alfa named Wasiu Faruq. This happened in Ilorin at Onilaru area, Ogidi. It’s indeed very sad.

Police Arrest Wanted Internet Fraud Suspects in Ilorin

Authorities in Ilorin, Kwara State’s capital, have apprehended six individuals who had been sought for their suspected participation in internet fraud. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) carried out the arrests.   The apprehension of Atanda Femi Benjamin, Atoyebi Samson, Olapade Oladimeji Solomon, Amoo Saheed, Lawal Opeyemi Mubarak, and Sadiku Muniru Dolapo took place in close proximity to the state House of Assembly.   The suspects were found in possession of three luxury vehicles, laptops, and mobile phones. They are expected to face legal proceedings in the near future.
