The decision of the Kano State government to ban street begging has been criticized by the Council of Ulamas, who accused Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of insincerity in the move. The Chairman of the Council, Ibrahim Khalil, expressed their opinion to newsmen on Wednesday, February 26.
