INEC denies postponing Plateau rerun election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has rebutted reports suggesting that the Plateau North Senate and House of Representatives rerun elections scheduled for Saturday, February 3, 2024, have been postponed. In a statement on Friday in Jos, Mr. Michael Otokpa, INEC's Head of Department of Voter Education & Publicity in Plateau, clarified the situation and confirmed that preparations for the election have been completed, contrary to circulating news.
