Mikel Arteta Ready to Terminate Arsenal Player’s Contract, Ending His Playing Career

Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has informed Nicolas Pepe that he will no longer feature in his plans. According to the UK Mirror, the club's executives are in talks to reach a settlement with the Ivorian winger. Pepe, who joined Arsenal from Lille in a £72 million transfer four years ago as their most expensive signing ever, has struggled to live up to expectations. Despite scoring 27 goals in 112 appearances for the Gunners, he has fallen out of favor with Arteta and spent the previous season on loan at Nice. As of now, Pepe has been unable to secure a move to a new club this summer and has less than a year remaining on his current contract. Unless his contract is terminated, he will be unable to complete a transfer until January. While a move to the Saudi Pro League before their tran...

EPL: David Silva Names Arsenal as the Only Team Capable of Challenging Man City for Title

In a recent statement, former Spain midfielder David Silva expressed his belief that only Arsenal has the ability to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title this season. Last season, the Gunners held the top position for most of the campaign, but a disappointing finish saw them end up five points behind City. Manchester United secured third place, while Newcastle United clinched the final Champions League spot. Currently, City is leading the table with four wins in four fixtures, with Arsenal following closely with 10 points and United with six. According to Silva, "Arsenal are the only team I can see who maybe have a chance of challenging City. The rest? I don't think they can." Silva also mentioned how he closely watched City's games in the Champions League last season...

Robbie Savage predicts Chelsea to finish in top four but Arsenal won’t win title

According to former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Robbie Savage, Chelsea is expected to secure a spot in the Premier League's top four despite their slow start this season. Savage, however, doesn't believe that Arsenal will be able to clinch the title. Under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea currently sits at 12th place in the table, having won only one out of their four opening matches. Nonetheless, Savage is confident that Pochettino can turn things around at Stamford Bridge. In an interview with Planet Sport Bet, he stated, "When Mauricio Pochettino was appointed, I thought Chelsea would secure a top-four finish, and I still believe that. They have made several impressive signings, and with Pochettino's managerial abilities to develop players and teams, I think Chelse...

Antony Excluded from Brazil Squad following Allegations of Domestic Violence

The Brazil squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifying fixtures will not include Manchester United forward, Antony. In June, Antony issued a statement firmly denying the domestic violence accusations made by Ms. Cavallin, maintaining that they were false. Addressing the media on Monday, the player expressed his trust in the ongoing police investigations to reveal the truth and prove his innocence. Manchester United has yet to make a statement regarding the new allegations. Manchester United Set to Discipline Sancho for Criticizing Ten Hag

Jadon Sancho is facing disciplinary action from Manchester United after he publicly criticized manager Erik ten Hag on social media, according to Goal. Ten Hag had suggested that he omitted Sancho from the squad for their 3-1 loss to Arsenal on Sunday due to the player's poor attitude during training throughout the week. In response, the 23-year-old expressed his displeasure online and accused the club of using him as a "scapegoat." Despite Sancho's remarks, Ten Hag stands by his comments and United is considering taking disciplinary measures against the player. Sancho may attempt to regain his position in the squad by making a concerted effort, although it appears unlikely given his public statement.

Rio Ferdinand Criticizes Sancho: Choose Between Bench or Saudi Arabia

In a strong message to Jadon Sancho, former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand suggested that the player should either consider joining a Saudi Arabian club or be prepared to spend time on the bench at his current club. Sancho was recently left out of the squad by manager Erik ten Hag for their 3-1 defeat against Arsenal. Ten Hag stated after the game that the decision was based on Sancho's attitude during training sessions throughout the week. However, Sancho took to social media to refute the claims, describing them as "completely untrue" and asserting that he had been made a "scapegoat". During an interview on Vibe with Five, Ferdinand commented, "There's no way Jadon would release a statement like that unless he genuinely believed he had performed well. The discrepancy lies i...
