# Suspected yahoo boys assault their intermediary over alleged theft of funds (video)
According to reports, a group of suspected yahoo boys (internet fraudsters) have reportedly assaulted their middle man with machetes and other weapons, accusing him of stealing their money.
It’s alleged that middlemen, also known as “pickers”, handle payments and physical items from victims and transfer them to the scammers in exchange for a cut of the stolen funds.
The specific amount of money allegedly stolen by the middle man remains unclear.
