Sunmbo Adeoye, the wife of Lagos pastor David Adeoye, recently took to social media to share her remarkable journey of having two children in the space of 22 months after a 5-year wait.
The mother of four had two children with singer 2face Idibia before marrying Pastor Adeoye in 2013. They waited for five years before welcoming their first child together, David Jnr, in 2018, and their second child, a girl, just a few weeks ago.
In a series of Instagram posts, Sunmbo recounted her experience of leaving Nigeria in 2017 to have their first child but sadly losing the baby.
She shared how devastating it was when she returned to Nigeria without her baby, and how she found the strength to keep her faith in God before being blessed with her babies.

TESTIMONY – PART 1
This was in June 2017
I had traveled to Connecticut in May for my niece’s graduation and commencement service, and to have our baby after many miscarriages and failed IVF treatments.On the day of our ultrasound, I was filled with excitement as my niece accompanied me for the check-up.
However, instead of receiving updates and hearing the baby’s heartbeat, the lady in the lab kept asking questions. It was then that she delivered the devastating news that there was no heartbeat, and I needed further testing due to the recurring losses.
