'Stop firing to save children!' – Ukraine President Zelensky's wife pleads with Western powers

Olena Zelenska, the wife of Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenskyy, is urging Western nations to intervene in Ukraine’s conflict with Russia to put an end to the killing of Ukrainian children.

Zelensky’s wife is calling on the media to reveal the harsh reality that Russian troops are deliberately and cynically targeting and killing children, warning of catastrophic consequences if Ukraine is left without assistance.

In a post on Instagram, she highlighted the ongoing loss of Ukrainian children’s lives since the Russian invasion on February 24 and appealed to NATO to implement a no-fly zone over Ukraine to protect not only Ukrainian children but also those of other nations.

She emphasized, ‘The Russian occupiers are killing Ukrainian children. Consciously and cynically.’

‘When people in Russia say that their troops are not hurting the civilian population, show them these pictures!’

‘I have to tell you about it. At least 38 children have already died in Ukraine,’ she added.

‘This figure might be increasing at this very moment due to the shelling of our peaceful cities!’

‘When people in Russia say that their troops are not hurting the civilian population, show them these pictures!’

She also shared a photo of an 18-month-old boy named Kirill, who tragically lost his life in Mariupol, a southern city in Ukraine, when Russian forces violated a ceasefire just minutes after it began.

She also shared distressing images of deceased individuals on the streets of Ukraine.

Following the loss of her 18-month-old son Kirill, his devastated mother Marina Yatsko and her partner Fedor were captured mourning as they held their son’s lifeless body on a stretcher in the besieged city.
