Spain and USA Secure Spots in Olympic Women’s Football Semis

The world champions, Spain, faced a tough challenge against Colombia but emerged victorious on penalties to progress to the semi-finals of the Olympic women’s football competition. Meanwhile, the United States also booked their spot in the semis by defeating Japan.
