“Social Media Wars – Dreads, Tattoos, and Passwords.” – More than just a Discussion

Confirmed reports indicate that Sterling Bank is set to host a discussion panel during the upcoming Social Media Week Lagos event, focusing on the social issues affecting Nigerian youth.

The panel discussion, titled “Social Media Wars – Dreads, Tattoos, and Passwords”, will delve into modes of self-expression, exploring how providing youth with an outlet for self-expression can fuel creativity and improve job performance by alleviating physical and mental constraints.

“Last last, we are creatives not criminals.” Therefore, their choice of self-expression should not invite harassment.

Aside from these issues, the discussions will also offer solutions on how to address such situations if encountered.

The panel session will feature Sterling Bank’s MD – Abubakar Suleiman, Segalink, Ruggedman, and Gbemi as panelists, and is scheduled to take place on Monday, 24th February at The Landmark Event Centre, Lagos, starting at 2:30 pm.

This panel discussion is eagerly anticipated, and all are warmly invited to take part in the conversation and share their stories, as well as their thoughts on how to halt stereotypes.

For those unable to attend the panel session, there is an option to join the Tweet Meet on February 21st at 3 p.m. on Twitter with podcast anchor, @FKAbudu. This promises to be an engaging chat leading up to the main event.
