Singer Kaha from Nigeria has sadly announced the passing of his father through an Instagram post.
He penned down a touching tribute to his father who passed away at the age of 81, portraying him as intelligent, generous, amiable, spiritual, kind-hearted, very peaceful, and honorable.
Kaha also expressed his determination to continue his father’s legacy, emphasizing the special bond they shared.
In his words:
The greatness of my father cannot be quantified. Your guidance in my life will always be cherished. I aim to follow in your footsteps and ensure that your legacy lives on eternally. Your absence will always be felt. When I was a child, all troubles vanished with a single word from you. Your smile was like sunshine. You were intelligent, generous, amiable, spiritual, kind-hearted, very peaceful, and honorable without fail.
You have always been there for me, no matter the mistakes I made… you lovingly mended my broken spirit when I needed a listening ear. You will always hold a special place in my heart and no matter where life takes me, I will remember you with love. You have departed but you will never be forgotten. You were my best friend, an incredible father, mentor, and the greatest role model. Regardless of where I am, your spirit will be by my side. Because I know that you will always be with me no matter what. Only God can ease this pain but I will do as you said and pray for you. You will always reside in my heart… because you are still alive within. You are in a better place now, and I will be strong for you and the rest of the family.
May perpetual light shine upon you, dad. May God receive your soul. Rest in peace. Remember my father in your prayers. 1939-2020. He was 81 years old.
