Popular Nigerian musician, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, who is best known as Joeboy, recently expressed his openness to the idea of tying the knot with his current girlfriend.
Joeboy described his relationship with his girlfriend as a deep and uncontrollable form of love.
During a conversation on the latest edition of Madame Joyce’s ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’ podcast, Joeboy shared his belief in the sanctity of love and marriage.
He elaborated, stating, “The connection I share with my current partner is pure, intense, and overflowing with love.”
Joeboy added, “I have faith in the power of love and marriage, to a certain extent [laughs].”
Reflecting on his current relationship, Joeboy emphasized, “I can envision spending the rest of my life with the person I am with now. If I don’t see a future with someone, I wouldn’t commit fully. I would rather keep things casual.”
It was previously revealed that Joeboy mentioned in an interview last year that he had lavished approximately N50 million on his current girlfriend over a span of two years.
While unsure about the exact amount, he hinted that the actual figure might be even higher.
Furthermore, Joeboy expressed his desire to safeguard his girlfriend’s anonymity to shield his personal life from the invasive gaze of social media.
