Having a romantic relationship with a colleague in your industry can pose challenges, according to popular Ghanaian artist Gyakie.
During a recent interview on 3FM in Accra, she expressed her reluctance to date fellow musicians.
Gyakie shared her perspective, saying, “Love is a beautiful thing. I wouldn’t say it’s wrong, but currently, I wouldn’t choose to be in a relationship with someone from my own field.”
Despite her stance, Gyakie has not been linked publicly to anyone romantically.
In 2021, there were speculations about her relationship with Nigerian singer Omah Lay, which later turned out to be a planned publicity stunt for their collaboration on the ‘Forever’ remix.
