Instagram was used by Vanessa Bryant to reveal the memorial date for Kobe and Gigi Bryant.
This announcement included a photo of the memorial IV. The “celebration of life” will take place on the 24th of February 2020 (2, 24, 2020), at 10am in the Staples Centre.
Vanessa explained the significance of the chosen date. Gigi’s jersey number was 2, Kobe’s was 24, and Kobe had spent 20 years as a Laker before his passing.
“#2, #24 #20 years as a Laker,” Vanessa wrote, adding purple and yellow love emojis – the Lakers colors.
