Edna Mukwana, a Kenyan woman, has shocked many by selling her husband for Ksh 1700 (equivalent to N6,000) in order to buy clothes for her children.
According to Mukwana, she made this decision after catching her husband with another woman on their matrimonial bed, following his absence for over a week.
She explained,
My husband is married to alcohol and womanizing. I demanded Ksh 2000 from the woman who had been leading him astray, but she only sent Ksh 1700. I used all the money to purchase clothes for my children for the new year.
When asked if she would take him back, Mukwana responded,
I can’t. I don’t want to start the new year with last year’s troubles.
