Shocking Development: 91 Recovered Patients Test Positive for Coronavirus Again, Reveals Korean Center For Disease Control

Surprisingly, 91 Coronavirus patients have tested positive for the virus again after recovering from the disease, as disclosed by the Korean Center For Disease Control (KCDC).

Currently, a viral test is being conducted on these cases as the 91 individuals had tested positive for the new coronavirus after their release from quarantine.

According to KCDC Director-General Jeong Eun-kyeong, the test results will be available at least two weeks from now while Korean health officials will investigate whether those who retested positive had developed antibodies indicating their recovery.

“We are isolating viral cells from the respiratory organs of those who have tested positive for COVID-19 again,” stated KCDC Director-General Jeong Eun-kyeong to reporters on Friday.

KCDC officials and the W.HO believe that the virus was highly likely to have been reactivated in its host cells, rather than the individuals being reinfected, as they tested positive immediately after release from quarantine.
