Shock as Ghanaian TV station mistakenly broadcasts adult content during live show (Photos)

An embarrassing incident has occurred as a popular Ghanaian TV station unintentionally aired adult content during a live broadcast.

 

During the airing of the relationship and sex talk show, DUVET, GHOne TV mistakenly showed explicit content at a time when President Akufo-Addo was addressing the nation about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Shortly after the incident, Nana Aba Anamoah, the Acting General Manager of GHOne TV, issued an apology to the Ghanaian public for the airing of the explicit video on their late-night program, Duvet.

In a statement released on Twitter, she expressed, ‘GHOne TV wishes to sincerely apologise to its cherished viewers for the regrettable turn of events during your favorite late-night program, DUVET, a few hours ago. Despite the show being X-rated, we acknowledge that the nature of the content tonight was inappropriate.

 

‘Meanwhile, tonight’s edition was taken off a few minutes into the show. The President’s 6th address on the government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic was fully aired.

 

‘While we promise that this incident will not recur, we will also ensure that the individuals responsible for the mishap are disciplined. Kindly accept our apology, with any inconvenience caused deeply regretted. Thank you.’
