Nollywood performer, Bimbo Ademoye has composed an emotional expression of gratitude to her senior colleague, Shaffy Bello.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Bimbo declared that despite her tough personality, she has a sensitive side.
The movie star recounted how she contacted the veteran actress to collaborate with her in her latest production and she agreed.
Bimbo was amazed that despite the multiple production delays and postponements, Shaffy was still enthusiastic about working with her and had even cleared her schedule for her sake.
The AMVCA award-winning actress was even more surprised when Shaffy declined to accept any payment from her and had even prayed for her like a caring mother would pray for her child.
Expressing her appreciation, Bimbo conveyed her gratitude for having Shaffy in her life.

Yes, I’m a tough person but sometimes I can be very emotional.
So I reached out to Aunty Shaffy.
@iamshaffybello that I wanted to shoot a series. She said call me whenever you need me. I didn’t quite grasp the full meaning of those words. Don’t get me wrong Aunty Shaffy is one of the most supportive individuals on earth (story for another day). I had hoped and prayed my budget would be acceptable to her. Because why would you call the Queen and underpay her? I sent the script and asked about her fee. She responded, “Bimbo send the date and let me know when you’re ready. I was scared. We had to change dates due to some circumstances. Nonetheless, she reserved a day that was meant for her rest to come on set. On the day of the shoot, Aunty Shaffy called to assure me she would be there (not that I ever doubted). She came on set fully prepared. I mean fully prepared!! Hair, clothes, makeup. Actually, everything we had prepared for her was almost irrelevant because she came fully equipped for her role. She shot until nighttime and never complained for a second. After the shoot, I asked her again “Aunty how much should I pay you”, she said Bimbo leave me alone and focus on your shoot. I broke down. Why did she think I deserved such love? Then she embraced me tightly and prayed for me. Prayed for me like a mother would to her child. Please help me convey my gratitude to @iamshaffybello. I had no idea my producer was recording. But thank God she did. Aunty Shaffy, I will love you forever!”.
Bimbo also expressed her appreciation to Lilian Afegbai for supporting her during the production.
“I called @lillyafe to ask if she would be available. It was a last-minute call. My friend said I’ll check, but even if I’m busy, I’ll make time for you. Lilly had a flight to catch that day. She arrived on time, didn’t panic, and allowed me to use her car. And she didn’t ask for any money. @lillyafe thank you, sis. I’m always here for you, I promise”.
