Shareef O’Neal, the son of Shaquille O’Neal and a prominent basketball player, recently shared the last message he received from Kobe Bryant on the morning of the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Bryant, his daughter, and seven others.
Early on that fateful day, at 8:19am, Kobe reached out to Shareef with a simple “You good fam?”
Shareef responded by asking Kobe, “How you been?”
Tragically, Shareef never received a response. Later that same morning, at around 9:40am, the helicopter carrying Kobe and his daughter crashed, resulting in their untimely deaths.
Shareef, whose father Shaquille was a close friend and teammate of Kobe, has dedicated his Twitter account to honoring the memory of the late basketball icon and his daughter Gigi.
