Sergio Ramos: No Celebrations Planned for Potential Goal Against Real Madrid

Upon his upcoming return to Real Madrid, Sevilla’s Sergio Ramos expressed that he will refrain from celebrating should he score against his former team.

After departing in 2021 to join Paris Saint-Germain, this marks Ramos’ first match at the Santiago Bernabeu since his departure.

Throughout his 16 years with Real Madrid, Ramos achieved five LaLiga titles and four Champions League victories, netting an impressive 101 goals in 671 appearances.

Ramos shared with the LaLiga website, “I wouldn’t celebrate, but if by chance I do score and it secures a win for us, I would be thrilled as those three points would be significant for our team.”

Reflecting on Real Madrid’s current standing, Ramos added, “Real Madrid is consistently considered the top contender for all competitions. They are currently leading the league, equipped with players of immense talent and quality.”

He concluded, “We are mindful of the challenge at hand and will endeavor to deliver a strong performance on the pitch.”
