Luxury car manufacturer, Bentley, has unveiled the Mulliner Bacalar, a $2 million car that completely lacks a roof and features trim made from trees that fell 5,000 years ago.

The Bacalar has neither a roof nor a removable cloth top, rendering it unusable in the event of rain. Bentley has announced that only 12 of these cars will be produced. The car is powered by a 650-horsepower 12-cylinder engine and an eight-speed transmission.

The interior wood trim of the car is crafted from trees that have been naturally preserved for over 5,000 years in the rivers and lakes of East Anglia in the United Kingdom. Its distinct black color has resulted from aging for five thousand years in wet soil. Bentley originally planned to reveal the Bacalar at the Geneva Motor Show on Thursday, but the event was canceled due to the coronavirus outbreak, prompting Bentley to unveil the car online instead. The company has confirmed that only 12 models will be produced and all have already been sold out.
