Amidst the clash between okada riders and police officers in Iyana Ipaja (read here), a female student has been hit by a stray bullet.
A video circulating online depicts a schoolgirl, donning her school uniform, lying motionless on the ground. Her school uniform is soaked in blood as concerned individuals attempt to apply pressure to stop the bleeding.
Amidst the commotion, people expressed distress and attempted to comfort the girl in her final moments.
Reports indicate that the girl was swiftly transported to the hospital, where she underwent an operation to remove the bullet. She is currently in the process of recuperating.
The clash in Iyana Ipaja erupted this morning due to the ban on okada and keke in Lagos.
