Scholes claims Man Utd’s 4-0 loss to Palace seals the fate for Ten Hag

Paul Scholes, the ex-Manchester United midfielder, believes that the team’s 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace has sealed the fate of manager Erik ten Hag, putting an end to their hopes for European football next season.

During his appearance on Premier League Productions with Michael Owen, Scholes expressed his strong sentiments about the situation, suggesting that the defeat was the final blow for Ten Hag.

According to Scholes, the signs were already indicating Ten Hag’s difficulties in continuing next season and this latest loss has solidified that belief.

Reflecting on the match, Scholes remarked, “It felt like the end. If it is the end, I’m not sure what’s out there at the minute.”

He further added, “I’ve felt he might get another year and work for a club that has calmed down a little bit by the new owners but it just doesn’t feel like it now.”
