Nigerian singer, Kaha, has shared the heartbreaking news of his father’s passing in a post on Instagram.
In a heartfelt tribute, Kaha remembered his father, who passed away at the age of 81, as a smart, generous, friendly, prayerful, kind-hearted, peaceful, and honorable man.
Kaha expressed his commitment to upholding his father’s legacy, emphasizing the profound impact his father had on his life. He expressed his emotions in the following words:
“My appreciation for my father’s greatness cannot be measured. Your guiding hand on my shoulder will remain with me forever. I want to carry on in your footsteps and make sure that your legacy lives on forever. Your loss will always sting. When I was a child, all problems had ended with a single word from you. A smile from you was sunshine. You were smart, generous, friendly, prayerful, kind-hearted, most peaceful, and honorable without fail. You have been there for me, no matter what bad choices I might have made… you lovingly repaired my broken spirit when I needed someone to talk to. You will always be special to me and no matter where life takes me I’ll remember you with love. You are gone but you will never be forgotten. You were my best friend, an amazing father, mentor, and greatest role model. No matter where I am, your spirit will be beside me. For I know that no matter what, you will always be with me. Only God can take this pain away but I’ll do as you have said to pray for you. You will always be in my heart, because in there you’re still alive. You’re in a better place now and I will be strong for you and the rest of the family. Perpetual light shine upon you dad. God accept your soul. Rip. Remember father in your prayers. 1939-2020.
