Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Ruth Kadiri, has voiced her distress after falling victim to a N230k scam.
She took to her Instagram page to share the news, revealing that despite her efforts, the body shaper and waist trainer brand she had engaged in a business transaction with failed to deliver the items she had ordered.
Ruth pleaded with the company to either fulfill the order or reimburse her, considering the current state of the economy.
She expressed her frustration at the difficulty of establishing trust in today’s world, highlighting that her attempts to communicate with the vendor had gone unanswered.
Accompanied by receipts of the transaction, Ruth Kadiri appealed:
“Please help me plead with them to deliver my product or refund my money! The economy is tough! Jesus!
“They are no longer responding to my messages!!!! Trust is hard these days.”
Sharing a similar encounter, her colleague Uche Elendu lamented in the comments that she had to take legal action before receiving a refund.
Uche Elendu commented: “These people’s fraudulent activities are on another level. I had to pursue them until they refunded my client’s money. Ensure you receive your payment first, babe.”
