There are discussions occurring between Manchester United and Monaco for the potential signing of Youssouf Fofana, as reported by Sky Sports.
United have been inquiring about the terms of a transfer for the 25-year-old player, who is in the final year of his current contract.
Fofana has been a part of the Ligue 1 team since 2020, having made 175 appearances and scoring seven goals.
In addition to Fofana, United is considering multiple midfield options, such as Richard Rios from Palmeiras, Sander Berge from Burnley, Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad, and Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina, who spent last season on loan at the club.
