Rumored Transfer: Arsenal’s Arteta Planning a Move for Onana from EPL Competitors

Reports from Liverpool Echo suggest that Arsenal has initiated talks to acquire Amadou Onana from Everton.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of the Gunners, is on the hunt for a fresh central midfielder for his team this summer.

This decision comes in the wake of Mohamed Elneny’s departure, with ongoing speculations about Thomas Partey’s potential exit as well.

Besides Arsenal, other Premier League giants such as Chelsea and Manchester United are also eyeing Onana.

It appears that Arsenal might be leading the chase this month after submitting an inquiry to Everton regarding Onana’s availability.

As per the report, Everton, facing pressure to adhere to the Premier League’s financial regulations following violations this season, may consider a deal around £50 million.
