Rubi Rose corrects mistake about her age as video vixen Rubi Rose sets the record straight about her age when she started as a video vixen

The statement made by controversial American rapper and model, Rubi Rose, regarding her age when she began her career as a video vixen has been retracted.

Rose rose to fame following her appearance in the music video for the 2016 hit single ‘Bad and Boujee’ by Migos.

During a recent episode of the Joe Budden podcast, the rapper initially mentioned that she was 16 years old when she featured in the video.

Recalling the experience, she said, “Migos’ ‘Bad and Boujee’ was the first video I ever did. I think I was 16 or 17 when I did the video.”

Her statements sparked criticism, given that the legal age of consent in America is 18, leading many to question the use of a minor as a vixen in an adult music video.

In response to the backlash, Rose clarified that she was actually 18 when she appeared in the video, not 16 as previously stated on the podcast.

“I was 18 in the ‘Bad and Boujee’ video, my apologies everyone,” she stated via X.
