Roy Keane slams Haaland’s response to Guardiola substitution, likening it to a spoilt brat

In the aftermath of Erling Haaland’s substitution by Pep Guardiola during Manchester City’s 5-1 victory over Wolves, former Manchester United captain Roy Keane was critical of the young striker’s reaction, describing it as akin to that of a spoilt brat.

Haaland, who scored four goals in the match, further solidifying his position as the leading scorer in the Premier League, was replaced by Guardiola after 82 minutes, visibly displaying his displeasure as he made his way to the bench.

During an appearance on Sky Sports’ Super Sunday, Keane remarked: “We saw Haaland yesterday being brought off, behaving like a spoilt brat.”

He added, “When they win the game and he scores goals, it’s almost forgotten about.”
