Actress Rita Edochie has responded to her husband’s nephew, Yul Edochie, after he mentioned her in his reaction to Mohbad’s death.
In an Instagram post during the weekend, Yul accused Nigerians of continuously harassing him for accepting Judy as a second wife, indicating that the abuse may have taken a toll on him.
He also pointed out that the same individuals who had ridiculed him are now mourning for Mohbad, who passed away months after reporting being assaulted and harassed by a group associated with Marlian Record Label.
“What they did to Mohbad is what they’ve been doing to me on the internet for over a year,” Yul wrote.
Yul brought up his Uncle’s wife, Rita, in his post, stating that she hadn’t contacted him since he lost his son with his first wife, May Edochie, but had been making comments about his marriage to a second wife.
Rita expressed that Yul’s remark about her being “my own Aunty” had brought tears to her eyes. According to Rita Edochie, Yul is not himself, which is the reason she hasn’t addressed him.
She did, however, single out Judy, Yul’s second wife, referring to her as the “Drama Devil” and claiming she had “caged” Yul.
Rita stated that she will not stop mentioning Judy until the actress “releases” Yul from the “bottle” and allows him to return home.
