On Instagram, Rihanna playfully teased her fans who were eagerly asking for her new album.
Although she had initially promised that her new music would come in 2019, the year came to an end without any new releases.
Fans, becoming impatient, turned to her Instagram to demand the release of her anticipated R9 album, which she had been teasing for months.
“Where is the album?” one fan inquired. Another remarked, “Bye. Where is the album?” and one follower urged Riri to “bless us with some good music please.”
Rihanna responded by teasing them in return.
A day earlier, while celebrating the launch of her new Fenty 2-20 collection at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City, Riri shared with Entertainment Tonight the amusement she finds in teasing her fans prior to releasing her enigmatic follow-up to 2016’s Anti.
“To be continued,” Rihanna hinted about her album. “I like to playfully stir up my fans. Well, they stir me up, too! So, it’s all fair game.”
