The latest addition to Arsenal’s squad, Riccardo Calafiori, has attributed his decision to join the Gunners to Jorginho’s influence.
Calafiori completed his move to Arsenal from Bologna for a fee of €50 million.
In an interview with the club’s official website, Calafiori stated: “
“I only met [Jorginho] a month ago, but I could tell he’s a great person. I was already leaning towards joining, but his encouragement sealed the deal for me.
“He was adamant: ‘Come on board! You’ll love it here, the team is fantastic, and everything about the setup is top-notch.’
“From the moment I arrived, I could sense the positive environment here,” he expressed.
