Rev. Mbaka: No cultist as next Governor of Enugu state

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria, emphasized that the people of Enugu state do not require a cultist as their next governor in 2023.

During Sunday Holy Mass at the Adoration Ground, Emene, the Catholic priest made this known as former Minister of Power, Prof Bart Nnaji, who is vying for the governorship under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, sought his spiritual blessings.

He appealed, emphasizing the need for a competent, visionary, and godly leader devoid of any affiliation with terrorism or cultism to maintain peace in the state.

While praying for the former Minister, Mbaka mentioned that his ministry had been praying for Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to support a candidate that would sustain peace in the State after him.

Mbaka, who claimed to have no preferred candidate, also assured Nnaji of his blessings, describing him as a “great son of Enugu State and a power generator.”

He expressed his hopes for the Governor to select a successor after his heart and in line with the peace the state currently enjoys, emphasizing the importance of a compassionate and empathic leader.

The priest concluded by stressing the need for a good-hearted and sympathetic individual to lead the state, proclaiming that the people will back a leader who prioritizes peace and the well-being of the populace.
