Donald Trump emerged as the clear choice for the Republican party in the upcoming 2020 presidential election after securing a significant victory in the Iowa caucuses on Monday night.
While Democrats experienced challenges in their caucus, Republicans demonstrated unity in their support for Trump, with the President securing 97.09% of the vote.
In the caucus, Trump’s competitors, Bill Weld and Joe Walsh, only received 1.5% and 1.4% of the vote, respectively, making Trump’s lead insurmountable.
Adding to the momentum, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump actively campaigned in Des Moines, Iowa, alongside celebrated surgeon Ben Carson, emphasizing their commitment to securing victory.
In contrast to the 2016 results, where Trump faced a setback in Iowa, his overwhelming win this time signals strong support within the Republican party.
