An online media outlet had published a report alleging that Zahra had obtained a job at the PPPRA through fraudulent means. However, Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, released a statement on February 12th, asserting that the report is false. Adesina emphasized that while Zahra, like any other Nigerian, is free to work wherever she is employed, the claim that she secured a position at the petroleum agency is untrue. The statement also denounced the publication as malicious and admonished the public to disregard the false news story.
