The planned renovation of facilities along the Kaduna railway line will soon be undertaken by the Nigeria Railway Property Management Company Limited, RPMCL, Kaduna.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the current condition of the facilities, the company emphasized the importance of restoring them to a standard that provides value for customers.
During routine inspections carried out by the company, the Managing Director of RPMCL, Mr. Timothy Zalanga, stated that 10 rented facilities in Kaduna South were sealed due to non-compliance with regulations by the occupants.
Zalanga highlighted the company’s commitment to recovering debts related to all rented facilities and ensuring that businesses on the premises pay their rightful rents.
In emphasizing the government’s role in overseeing businesses operating on the company’s premises, the MD urged the public to view the government as partners in progress.
