Reno Omokri, a former presidential aide, has given advice to parents, urging them not to compare their children to others.
“Dear Parents, unless you are wealthier than Elon Musk and more intelligent than Albert Einstein, never, ever tell your children, ‘see your mate’. You too have peers that you don’t measure up to. So, refrain from comparing your children with their peers,” he stressed.
“Assess them based on their potential. Do you know how Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bill Gates achieved tremendous success? It is because they had parents who believed in them, not parents who compared them with their peers. Believe in your children, encourage them, and stop pressuring them with ‘see your mate’!”
