Recounting her journey, Nigerian DJ Florence Otedola, more commonly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about blending her faith with her passion for music.
Having recently undergone a baptism, the music sensation shared her initial apprehension towards compiling a playlist consisting solely of Christian songs, crediting God for steering her in the right direction.
On Instagram, Cuppy posted images of her performance at an event and expressed her gratitude for the chance to use her music to serve God.
In her post, she said: “I was fortunate enough to engage in the two things I cherish the most: DJing AND serving God. What a privilege! Thank you for the invitation @HTBfocus.”
Emphasizing the vibrant and energizing nature of Christian music, Cuppy dispelled any doubts surrounding its appeal.
She went on to say, “I initially felt anxious about putting together a performance with ONLY Christian tracks, but God presented me with a challenge and guided me throughout. And let me make this clear— Christian music is AMAZING! I am sincerely grateful for this experience and the platform to express my faith through music!”
